About Us

In 2015, God began calling our family to a different lifestyle. It began with selling our suburban home and moving our family with four children to a beautiful, old farmhouse on a Mennonite dairy farm in our hometown. Then He asked us to start a ministry working with horses to share the love of Jesus with people. We left our jobs as a 20 year police officer and a registered nurse and started Risen Ridge Ministry. Now we have six children and God has given us the opportunity to have a stream of income from the lifestyle that He has provided for us. When you purchase our products, you are directly impacting our family and helping us to do what God has called us to do.

During our time living here on this wonderful farm we have learned so much from the farmer and his wife. The desire to raise animals in a kind and natural way, to provide healthy products to our family and the community, and to live a more simple life has grown. We continue to learn as we go and are very blessed and thankful to live close to His creation.
